VS Parthasarathy joins the Board of Mahindra Logistics as Chairman

Mahindra Logistics Ltd (MLL) has announced V. S. Parthasarathy as its Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board on Tuesday, March 24 2020. The utility vehicle and tractor maker, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd (M&M), had announced a reshuffle of the leadership team to comply with new rules issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and upcoming superannuation of some executives in December 2019.

 

Parthasarathy is presently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of M&M Group. He will be seen in the new role from today in lieu of the stepping down of Zhooben Bhiwandiwala yesterday. He started his career as Management Trainee with Modi Xerox and was Associate Director at Xerox before joining the Mahindra group in year 2000.

 

An alumnus of Harvard’s Advanced Management Program (2011), Parthasarathy is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

 

Already among one of India's largest third-party logistics service providers, the Board envisions that his experience will allow him to steer the company towards its vision from where Zhooben has left, said Darius Pandole, Chairperson of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee of the MLL Board.
